The debrief question
Does leading the Mini Fastnet 2025 after one hour mean winning the start? The displayed checkpoint identifies an early gap; it cannot reconstruct the starting gun or explain the decisions that produced it.

At the displayed 60-minute checkpoint, ASSOCIATION ALTYGO is in front, IRISH EXPRESS is 2.2 nm behind, the fleet median is 7.1 nm behind and ZESTE DE CITRON is 7.5 nm behind. OSCAR’s one-line summary instead says ZESTE DE CITRON won the start and never gave up the lead. That sentence conflicts with the checkpoint: it is not evidence that ZESTE led at one hour. Use the comparison and the tracks to examine this early separation, then keep the checkpoint separate from the eventual result.
An early gap is not a starting-gun verdict
OSCAR’s header lists 47 boats and excellent GPS for this historical 2025 race. These are product labels, not independent verification of a complete starting fleet. Public tracker pings are minutes apart. The displayed distances behind the class leader are rounded checkpoint values, not an official finish classification, an exact location of the first split, or evidence of crew intent. Even an excellent GPS label cannot explain why a boat gained or lost ground.
